'The Suicide Squad' Cast Wants to Bring Canada Back to F&!%ing Theatres
The cast of The Suicide Squad really wants you to get the full experience of their new blockbuster: on a screen big enough to blast through your retinas with the sheer force of its vastness. This gang of unlikely heroes from the DC Universe are dying to save the world — and movie theatre magic.

Made for IMAX, The Suicide Squad has now officially hit theatres at large after playing at Montreal's Imperial Theatre for the Fantasia International Film Festival on August 4. Back in March, we got to see the first trailer for the film and no holds were barred in its lofty, epic aspirations.

The Suicide Squad features a huge, star-studded ensemble cast, including Idris Elba (Bloodsport), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), John Cena (Peacemaker), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher 2), Sylvester Stallone (King Shark), David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Pete Davidson (Blackguard), Peter Capaldi (The Thinker), Sean Gunn (Weasel), Michael Rooker (Savant), Mayling Ng (Mongal), Nathan Fillion (T.D.K.) and Flula Borg (Javelin).

Here, a few of them have hilariously explained why Canadians should get back to enjoying the movie-going experiences they've been missing. But obviously, it wouldn't be The Suicide Squad without some expletives included in the message! The film promises to be chock-full of massive explosions, intense fight scenes, dark humour, team spirit – and yes, swear words.

We've been given an important movie-going reminder from John Cena, just in case you've forgotten: use the washroom beforehand so you don't have to miss a single, "gloriously bloody" second of the movie. We're obviously playing with fire here if our only hope to save the world is a bunch of super villains — what could go wrong?

Watch writer/director James Gunn and cast members Cena, Margot Robbie, Idris Elba and Joel Kinnaman urge the whole nation to return to those hallowed halls and their big-ass screens, booming sound systems, plethora of snacks and cushy chairs.
