Ariana Grande Gives Herself the Gift of a Twitter-less Christmas
Ariana Grande has given herself the greatest holiday gift of all today by deactivating her Twitter account and freeing herself from the unceasing horrors of online.

Whether it's an act of self-preservation inspired by the joy of the season, a content sweep to prepare for new music or some kind of accident on Twitter's part is unclear, but because her Twitter is gone there's no way to ask her why her Twitter is gone. Whatever the cause, Grande is probably better for it.

The pop star's Instagram is still in action, so if you're desperate for Grande updates you can head over there.

It's not atypical for pop stars to clear their social media before announcing a new era of music. Grande's last album was 2020's Positions, and given the insane clip that she's been on lately — three studio albums in as many years, plus a live album — she's on schedule to release something relatively soon. Only time will tell!

Grande recently appeared in Adam McKay's Don't Look Up.
